Happy Friday (oh the possibilities)!

I’m ever so grateful for the end of a work week and the start of the weekend. This week was a whirlwind of deadlines and (much too numerous) last minute alterations. I came home last night and had chips, salsa and guacamole for dinner. It was THAT kind of day.

Anyway, that’s over and the weekend has begun. Whoopee! Also, I’m quite excited about the upcoming week. Restaurant Week begins Monday. Fine dining restaurants in the metroplex are offering three-course prixe-fix dinners for $35. For every prixe-fix dinner purchased, restaurants in Fort Worth will donate $7 to the Lena Pope Home to benefit families in need. Each restaurant prepares a special menu for Restaurant Week, and diners have three choices to choose from of salads/soups, main entrees, and desserts. There are three restaurants on my list to visit–oh the possibilities!

Yes, my mind is on the wonderful dining experiences to come in the very near future and the gorgeously delicious meals waiting to be savored.

May you have a wonderful, gorgeous and delicious weekend!

  1. Omg, so many delicious food pics and I’m really loving each & everyone! I love the concept of dining for a cause and it’s something that everyone feels great about pitching in for. 🙂 Happy Weekend to you.

    • Those steak pics really got me craving steak. Patience, Sriprae, patience. Dining for a cause is a great concept. It’s a win-win for everyone. I mean, who doesn’t like getting together and sharing a great meal? To get to do that and have it benefit a cause makes it more meaningful I think. 🙂

  2. Wow ¡¡ amazing, like always. Love your photos specially the bread & butter one and the steaks and “bones or horns” with salt an pepper…Have a good week ¡¡ (by the way what are the salt and pepper containers?)

    • I’m glad you like the pictures. These however are not mine. I embedded the images from Pinterest. 🙂 They are gorgeous food photography. I believe the salt and pepper containers are cross sections of bone. At least that is what it looks like to me. Have a great week!
