Sometimes one needs a break from the daily grind.
My manager and I took a day off from the office to explore the city, scouring for inspiration. We encountered plenty. From typography, to decor, to window displays, to acquiring some snazzy business cards from shop owners; we were filled to the brim with new ideas.
Restaurants can be great sources of inspiration. What I love about Tillman’s Roadhouse is their use of red and turquoise for their signage, their mix of textures and materials in their architecture and decor: wood, tin, rusted metal. A marriage of modern ruggedness.
