Midweek Roundup

Happy Wednesday, folks! We’ve been doused with autumn rain for two days straight. The leaves still obstinately refuse to change colors, but alas there is finally a more permanent chill in the air…and the price of gasoline has dropped. (Insert disclaimer here.) This past weekend was quite the whirl of activities: from a meatloaf dinner party to a James Bond marathon to hosting and taping an ACT/SAT Prep class to recording and filming a jam session…I am content to bask in moments of quiet with a hot beverage at hand. I hope your week has started out swell and will end on a high note.

‘Tis time for this week’s roundups…from my inbox to your desktop (or phone).

Oh looky!…

For the love of cozy feet – Wouldn’t you love to trek in the snow with your pair of huskies bounding alongside and the scent of fresh pine filling your nostrils while your toes are toasty and snug as a bug in a rug?

For the love of technology & skateboarding – Hello, 21st century no effort required skating. That’s right. Just lean forward to make the board skate and lean back to hit the brakes. Technology at it’s finest.

For the love of string lights – String lights are just dreamy. Deck your home this holiday–or all year round–with these fine selections of clear bulbs, multi-colored globes or mushroom shaped lights.

For the love of sanity – Escape from the holidays; 8 hotel destinations to help you get away from it all (yes, even from the people you want to avoid).
